Mary and Vinh ~ teaser

Summer. Some people love it, some people don’t…. for those that do, there’s so much to look forward to: sun, sea, surf… for those that don’t: mossies, slow moving houseflies and bugs! For me, it’s awesome cos we get extended hours of daylight. It’s a great feeling walking out of work during daylight rather than the wintery cold and darkness!

Anyways, after some pretty intense rain over many days on end, Sydney finally clicked into Summer mode. I do recall wearing a hoodie to work on the last day of November! The weather’s just got wonky lately… you just can’t pick it!

FAST FORWARD to the Sunday just past: we got to hang with the effervescent Mary, and her fiance, Vinh. Mary and I have been trying to set this up since a couple of months ago. We tossed around a couple of places to meet up and Mary suggested ‘Fagan Park’. It was a perfect Summer’s day. Blue skies with patchy white clouds and a gentle breeze.

Check out the shots from the day. Location: REAL LIFE FARMVILLE. Highlights: Mary and Vinh reliving that passionate kiss which was immortalised into a drawing (by Mary). Have not met a more romantic couple than these two: complete with love letters (yes, you got that right, hand written letters in this day and age) and hand made dolls…. nice one, Vinh! Check out Mindy’s post of Mary and Vinh’s very-playful engagement shoot.

On a personal note: thank you everyone for a great year. We are proud to have shared in many happy moments and relived some child hood memories. I am excited to have found more camera, watch, travel and food-fanatic friends. I am also proud that I finally learnt to fly.

Most of all, I am grateful for the support of everyone: especially our families, our friends and to God for all his natural wonders and helping us to survive 40 deg shoots, rain, many kilometres of driving, a fractured arm, the odd plane ride and scary-tourette-ticking-one-armed taxi driver.

See you all in 2011.

    Love! Love! Love!
The photos are a true reflection of the couple we are. BIG BIG Thank you for making us feel comfy enough to be ourselves in front of the camera! (although the grass was very itchy! – all in the name of art I suppose!).
And thanku for giving the credit for the idea of location to me!
    Cant wait till the wedding!!
